Once Hermantown ended its streak of State Championship losses, the question was inevitable. No, not whether or not Hermantown will move up to Class AA, but whether or not Hermantown Head Coach Bruce Plante would make like Peyton Manning and retire a winner.

Saturday eight teams went in, four teams came out and are headed to the finals.
