Wisconsin grocery stores are one step closer to serving sample shots of liquor.

Today the State Assembly approved the bill that would make the samples legal.

Retailers with liquor licenses could offer customers a third of a shot of alcohol.

Superior grocery stores would be an exception because they don’t sell any liquor products.

The bill now moves to the State Senate.
