UPDATE: Missing Elderly Siblings Found Near Ely

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Volunteer Rescue Squad and sheriff’s deputies located two elderly siblings late Thursday night who had been reported to authorities as lost.

William Lockhart, 82, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and his sister, Jonell Kristensen, 75, of Denmark, were found around 10:40 p.m. in the area of Moose River Campground north of Echo Trail.

No medical attention was needed.
