Day three of the Outdoor Sports Show rolled on at the DECC Friday.

One of the most popular attractions that had people of all ages oohing and aahing, was an Australian Outback display featuring animals and birds native to the land Down Under.

The exhibit featured parrots, emu, wallabies and, everybody’s favorite, kangaroos.

“It gives people a chance to see animals and experience animals that they wouldn’t necessarily get a chance to,” said Kevin Vogel, owner of the Australian exhibit. “Everybody knows what a kangaroo is, but how often to you actually get to see one up close?” he laughed.

Those wanting to snap a photo with baby Sidney, an 8-month-old baby kangaroo, can stop by the display on the 2nd floor of the DECC Saturday and Sunday.
