Anyone walking around in downtown Duluth got some Valentine’s Day cheer Friday.

The Downtown Clean and Safe Teams handed out nearly 800 boxes of candy hearts to passersby in the spirit of hospitality and friendliness.

“Let people know that we’re out here in the district doing our job as far as keeping the area clean and safe,” said Duluth Downtown District Clean and Safe Ambassador, Scott Miller.

Organizers are hoping other cities adopt this Valentine’s Day Celebration.
