Sculpture Completely Down By End of April

It’s time! The infamous ice sculpture is set to come crashing down in Superior.
Ice Sculptor, Roger Hanson, had originally planned to tie cables around the structure to tear it down this week.
But, now with a little help from mother nature and the fire department the structure should fall down on it’s own.
“This thing should be gone by the end of April. I’m thinking maybe even sooner than that because of the discoloration and impurities in the water. Grabbing the sunlight will haze the destruction,” said Hanson.
He says he is going to be doing bigger and better things next year and is excited about his upcoming plans.
“There’s going to be a lot of changes made here. I’ve been working in an environment that I’ve been used to and developed a lot of confidence. I really got showed up this year,” Hanson expressed.
