The Duluth Public Library held its Spring Garden Fair.

Master gardners were on site teaching locals how to make seed bombs of clay and earth along with how to start seeds indoors and keep deer out of their gardens.

The library’s seed lending library is also back in business with different varieties of veggies well suited for Duluth’s short growing season.

“We’re hoping that by educating people we’re going to give them the confidence to you know maybe try something new or try starting seeds if they haven’ t before,” said Jocelyn Baker with Duluth Public Library. “Of course just getting people excited for gardening again.”

Master gardners recommend starting indoor seeds like tomatoes peppers and certain flowers.
