In a Fox follow up, the 15 sick kittens at Animal Allies are on a strong road to recovery.
The majority had fleas, upper respiratory problems and eye infections and all those costs add up.
The shelter originally had a goal to raise $4,500 to care for them.
But, enough generous donations came pouring in and they ended up raising $8,000.
“I’m just so amazing by our community and everything that we do here at Animal Allies is because of the support of our community. We have people here that work and help keep the animals but we couldn’t do it without that financial support. It’s so important for our mission,” said Animal Allies Marketing Manager, Amy Miller.
Seven have already been adopted and the rest are waiting to be healthy for surgery.
