A group of people who can’t wait for the cold weather to end and snow to melt is the golfers.

But, this year a new face will be seen on the course in Cloquet.

While crews are busy with course cleanup and getting equipment ready for the year, the country club’s superintendent left nearly a week ago.

General Manager, Bill Manahan, is looking for someone who is passionate about the game and feels they the right knowledge and management skills for the position.

“The better that person can do their job the better the golfers enjoy their experience on the course,” Manahan said.

The course is expected to open at the beginning of April.
