A local program pairing kids up with positive role models is asking for your help.

This month, Mentor Duluth kicked off its March into Mentoring campaign.

Their goal is to get 31 mentors in 31 days.

Right now, the nonprofit has nearly 300 kids on their list who are waiting for a mentor, which is someone that can commit 8 to 10 hours a month.

“Anyone who feels like they have the passion and the desire to help kids in the community,” Mentor Duluth Marketing and Recruitment Specialist Josh Nonnemacher said. “Help make the community a better place.”

They are also kicking off their first-ever March into Mentoring Music Fest this Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Depot.
