In a continuation of national ‘Kick Butts Day’ – the American Lung Association paid a visit to a college campus in Cloquet Monday.

They set up shop at Fond du Lac Tribal Community College with a booth full of information on smoking and methods to quit.

They passed out free sandwiches, which they meant to represent the chance to quit smoking cold turkey.

Part of their campaign was a selfie booth, where participants proclaim that they are not a replacement for the smoking industry.

“[They’ll write things like] ‘I’m smart. I’m beautiful. I’m an athlete,’ however they describe themselves as a replacement for the thousands of people who die every year because of the harms caused by tobacco,” said Rachel Loeffler-Kemp, a representative from the American Lung Association.

Those pictures will be posted on the ‘Kick Butts Day’ Facebook page.
