Locals Needed to Get Duluth Clean and Green

Volunteers Needed to Get Duluth Clean & Green

Sorry, this video is no longer available

Duluth is asking locals to help clean now that we’re seeing green.

The city is looking for individuals and organizations to help clean up litter now visible since the snow has melted.

Parks, sidewalks and other public places need a little tender, love and care.

Garbage bags along with other cleaning supplies will be provided.

“Making sure that people can walk in our parks, enjoy our parks and enjoy our public spaces without feeling like their just looking at litter,” City of Duluth Volunteer Coordinator Cheryl Skafte said. “Or at risk of stepping in something they don’t want to step in.”
