Millions of Christians observed Good Friday.
Friday afternoon, many Duluthians went to Vineyard Church for an artistic experience to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice.
Church leaders, in tandem with the religious meaning of the holiday, encourage people from around the area to come in and celebrate Easter with them.
“That was one of Jesus’ messages throughout his life, ‘Come and see,’ and I think that’s one of our messages now too, is Jesus is welcoming people in, and we’d love it if they would come and see what he has for them in their lives,” said John Kliewer, an Associate Pastor at Vineyard Church.
The church is holding an Easter egg hunt Saturday at 10 a.m.
