Duluth Firefighters Save Two Cats in House Fire

A Duluth family has fire crews to thank for saving their two cats from their burning home.
Twenty firefighters were dispatched to the fire at 521 N Lake Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
“We were able to arrive on scene quickly we had a lot of fire and smoke showing in the back of the house,” said Assistant Chief Chris Martinson, Duluth Fire Department.
No one was home or injured.
Damage is estimated at $100,000.
A cause is under investigation.
