DULUTH, Minn. – You could change the life of one of Duluth’s estimated 900 people living in extreme poverty.
Duluth Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Duluth Program has teamed up with the Human Development Center’s Homeless Project, to collect supplies to help the homeless stay safe and healthy.
“There are homeless folks, we all know that and through our harsh weather environment often times challenged with just the basic living necessities, winter wear, bottled water, soap, the sorts of things that we take for granted and homeless people don’t have easy access too,” said Roger Wedin with Duluth Chamber of Commerce.
Items can be dropped off through Wednesday April 22nd (they will take donations past that time) at the following locations:
HDC (Duluth)
US Bank (Duluth & Mall)
Chamber (Duluth and Hermantown)
Superior Glass Inc. (Superior)
Compudyne (Duluth)
Bent Paddle (Duluth)
