DULUTH, Minn. – Hundreds were in line Saturday morning waiting to shop at the Bike Swap held at Continental Ski and Bike Shop in Duluth.
The 9th annual event is the largest ever – showcasing more than 750 bikes including kids, mountain, cross, and road bikes.
“People travel a long ways to come to this. I’ve heard of people coming from the Twin Cities that come up because it’s a great opportunity to not only get a bike but to recycle a bike,” said Daniel Leslie a Bike Swap volunteer.
All of the money raised goes to the United Way of Greater Duluth.
The swap continues Sunday 11a.m. – 3p.m.
The best part of the sale on Sunday is that all of the bike prices will be reduced by 20-percent.
