Northern Lights Foundation Gala Friday

Final preps are underway for a special gala to support sick children in the Northland.

This Friday, the 2nd Annual Northern Lights Foundation Dinner & Silent Auction will be held at the Greysolon Ballroom in Duluth.

300 people are expected to help raise money for the charity, which supports Northland families who have children with life-threatening illnesses.

“We’re doing this in order to just support that family in a way that is really — financially is something we can do that’s tangible to help people,” said Monica Hendrickson, with the Northern Lights Foundation Gala.

FOX 21’s Dan Hanger will once again be the emcee for the evening.
