The community came together to help support a local nonprofit that gives a second chance to animals.

Wildwoods held their second annual silent auction fundraiser.

Event attendees got to bid on more than 100 items, enjoy live music and of course great food.

This is all to help the wildlife rehabilitation center continue to run their facility.

“In order to purchase supplies like food for the different animals, have appropriate housing,” Wildwoods animal care supervisor Sarah Glesner said. “Provide the different materials that we need on a daily basis and also funds to help us do educational programming.”

FOX 21’s very own Dan Hanger mc’d the benefit.
