Softball Team Sends Care Packages to Troops

SUPERIOR, Minn. – A local softball team is giving back to community members of the 950th who are serving overseas.

Twin Ports Rampage Girls Fast Pitch Softball Association made care packages for area troops.

The association is made up of four teams with players 8-years-old to 16-years-old.

“The mission of the Twin Ports Rampage is not only to create stronger and better softball players. We want to create better and stronger girls in general. We want them to give back to the community and go,” said Shawn McLaughlin with Twin ports Rampage Fast Pitch Softball.

One hundred packages will be shipped to Afghanistan.
