For more than 50 years, Northlanders have spent one day eating breakfast all day long for a good cause. That’s right, the 58th annual Duluth Lions Club Pancake Day is off to a great start!
200 to 250 people volunteer to flip pancakes, pour coffee, hand out drinks and help make your pancake day memorable.
One new thing on the agenda for this year’s pancake day is they have a new gluten free option.
There is also a free vision screening in addition to the diabetes screening they also have.
If you don’t have cash or don’t want to write a check, you’re now able to use credit or debit cards to pay for your delicious pancakes.
Organizers with the Duluth Lions Club are excited for this event and are looking forward to serving thousands of Northlanders their pancake meal.
“We’re looking forward to a lot of people coming down, we traditionally serve about 10,000 people so we’re looking to have that many people join us again today for some pancakes, sausage, toppings, coffee, juice and milk,” Pancake Day Chairperson Bob Cedergren said.
Tickets for Pancake Day are $7 at the door and the doors will be open until 8 p.m.
