To celebrate 25 years of business in Duluth, Alakef Coffee Roasters will open it’s first kiosk in Super One at the Kenwood Shopping Plaza.

The new retail space, called “Alakef Cup,” will offer espresso drinks, fresh juice, smoothies, protein shakes, muffins, salad and soups.

In addition, this is a “grab and go” concept, Alakef will be sourcing sustainable packaging options.

“We will have different ordering options.  So, you’ll be able to go in and order face to face with somebody or you’ll be able to do remote ordering and pick it up when you’re done shopping.  It’s meant to be an added convenience to Super One stores,” said Owner, Alyza Bohbot.

Owner Alyza Bohbot says retail has been something the company has been thinking about for year.

With a background in retail management, Bohbot says this is the right direction the company should be taking.

Alakef is excited to show off what more they have to offer their customers.

“Be able to showcase our own specialty blends since we aren’t able to showcase all of our blends at the grocery stores right now.”

The store is set to open in mid June.
