It was a night to shine Thursday for Duluth’s homeless and street youth.

Thirty teens from Life House attended a graduation ceremony at Greysolon Ballroom.

Organizers say it’s a way to celebrate young people who have made significant achievements this past year.

“It really means a lot. You can really see the pride in their faces when they walk across the stage and get their diploma,” said Maude Dornfeld, executive director at Life House.

Life House is a drop-in center in Duluth that services 600 youth every year, including more than 200 who are homeless.
