Twenty-four affordable income housing units are set to go up in Superior.
The project, put together by a Lacrosse developer, is set to break ground later this year near the airport.
It’s being built with tax credits granted through Wisconsin’s Housing and Economic Development Agency.
“We’re really trying to get ahead of the game and stay ahead because we know we have a really big housing need here,” City of Superior’s Planning Director Jason Serck.
The city is also looking into where the real housing need is, by conducting an assessment.
