Duluth has been voted one of three finalists in a national competition to receive a $100,000 grant from Bell Helmets to build a new mountain bike trail.
As of Wednesday, Duluth is sitting in 2nd place, and Spirit Mountain hosted a “vote party” to help Duluth take first.
Brandy Ream, executive director at Spirit Mountain said, “If we are able to bring that award home, and receive that $100,000, this would be a trail that would be built late summer into fall. This is one that people could potentially ride this mountain bike season!”
Voting closes Thursday, June 4 at 11:59 PM.
