Two Men Arrested After Holding Homeowners at Gunpoint

Two Suspects Arrested for Armed Home Invasion in Rice Lake Township

Two people are behind bars after an armed home invasion in Rice Lake Township.

Around 1:30 Friday morning authorities were called to Rehbein Road where they encountered two men.

The men ages 24 and 29 ran into the woods after dropping numerous firearms police say they had taken from the residence.

Eventually they were able to catch the suspects.

One they say was trying to steal a nearby car and the other taken in near a swap with the help of a K-9.

The homeowners say they were held at gunpoint and forced to open their gun safe for the men.

The suspects are being held at the St. Louis County Jail with charges of first degree burglary and aggravated robbery pending.
