Local artists used fire to showcase beautiful works of art Saturday afternoon.
The fire festival is a celebration of the creative process.
It showcased artists who are housed in the Duluth Armory Annex.
On hand were blacksmiths, glass blowers and ceramic artists who all use fire to create art.
“We’re having raku firing and a pit firing, that is ceramics and we’re having hands–on clay demonstrations. We have a couple of food trucks here,” said Owner of Snoodle Ceramic Studio Tonya Borgeson.
