Dozens Evacuated from Bloomington Hotel
Evacuation Caused by Exterior Problems
Dozens of guests were evacuated from a Twin Cities area hotel overnight, apparently because of some problems with building’s exterior.
Guests say some siding fell off the high-rise La Quinta Inn & Suites in Bloomington and fell onto the roof of the entryway.
Visitors were roused about 2 a.m. Monday and stood outside the hotel.
They were later allowed back in to retrieve belongings.
