The new Maurices’ Headquarters in Duluth celebrated another milestone in it’s construction project with Monday’s “Topping Off” ceremony.
More than 400 associates and construction partners joined together to celebrate the last major piece of structural steel being placed.
President of Maurices, George Goldfarb, says this building will be an iconic gateway to Duluth.
“Our goal is to provide you with the state of the art building which includes significant opportunities for connecting and collaborating, learning and development, health and wellness, and provides flexibility in where and how you work,” said Goldfarb.
But Chief Operating Officer of McGough Construction, Brad Wood, says there is still a lot of work to be done.
“We’ll continue to install precast, windows and then work to fully enclose the building by the end of September. Then, the work begins on finishing the interior,” said Wood.
The building is expected to be finished next April.
