The United States Hockey Hall of Fame is planning improvements for the Eveleth facility.
Lawmakers and the Minnesota Historical Society granted the museum $200,000 during the special session.
“We plan to use the money to do expansion and also update some of the older exhibits since we’ve been in business now for 42-years now, so we’ve got a few things to replace there,” said U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Museum Executive Director Doug Palazzari.
Palazzari tells Fox21 attendance is on the rise with 12,000-15,000 visitors annually.
