Wheels and boards took over the Superior Skate Park Sunday.

It was all in honor of National Go Skateboarding Day.

An Ollies for Alzheimer’s contests was also held there, putting skater’s skills to the test with 360 degree turns, flips and grinds.

“It’s really cool seeing everybody get together, hang out you know,” Damage Boardshop owner Ben Olson said. “It’s not just for skateboarding, it’s for everything you know. It’s just fun hanging with the community and doing events like this whenever we can.”

Ollies for Alzheimer’s is an organization that raises money to help support programming and services for people dealing with Alzheimer’s.
