Duluth’s vision for Superior Street is set to drastically change.

These are rendering of the proposed reconstruction.

The last of a public information meeting was held Tuesday afternoon for people to provide input on parking, layout of driving lanes, landscaping, and lighting.

“We know that there has been a lot of maintenance with bricks, a lot of issues with it. While it has been a great look for us, but how else can we have a signature look for us in the downtown area. What can be the next look for the next 30–years,” said President of the Greater Downtown Council Kristi Stokes.

The city plans to apply for bonding money to help pay for some construction.

The earliest the project would break ground is 2017.
