Are you ready for a carnival?

The Mighty Thomas carnival has arrived in Duluth – just in time for the Fourth of July.

Wednesday morning, the crew could be seen putting the final touches on carnival set up in the DECC parking lot.

This carnival has been coming to Duluth since the 1960s, and operators are excited for the nice early July weather.

“We offer family fun and a good carnival experience for families and kids of all ages,” said Mighty Thomas Vice President Carolyn Hanschen.

Hanschen cites rides like “Moby Dick” and “Pharaoh’s Fury” for the more adventurous carnival-goers.

The schedule for the Mighty Thomas Carnival is as follows:
Wednesday, July 1, 3:30-10:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 2, 3:30-10:30 p.m.
Friday, July 3, 11:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 4, 11:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m.
Sunday, July 5, 1:30 -8:30 p.m.
