An internal investigation is complete and says Spooner Superintendent Michelle Schwab did not bully teachers and staff, according to the Personnel Committee made up of board members.

The members reviewed eight complaints against Schwab.

The complaints stemmed from a protest against Schwab who was accused of running longtime teachers and staff out of the district.

Meanwhile, a group of concerned Spooner residents has filed formal complaints with the Washburn County district attorney that alleges 35 violations against the

Spooner School Board, according to Holy Snider who filed the complaints.

Snide says the school board repeatedly broke Wisconsin’s Open Meetings Law involving the way it handled the allegations of bullying by Schwab.
