Duluth’s First Witness is hosting visitors from all over Minnesota for this weeks Stand Against Child Abuse Conference.
The two day conference is focusing on two key areas.
The first is ensuring that abuse victims receive the proper medical care and examinations.
The other is advanced training for child advocates.
First Witness Executive Director Beth Olson said Monday, that advocates need advanced training to ensure they are able to help victims and their families in times of need.
The conference is made up of several lectures, breakout sessions, and two keynote speeches.
