Deer Causes Car Crash in Cook
One Sent to Essentia Health Duluth
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office responded to Beatty Road in rural Cook at 10 p.m. Tuesday for a two-vehicle accident with injuries.
Officers would determine one of the vehicles had struck a deer and then was struck from behind by a following vehicle after stopping in the roadway.
One of the passengers in the vehicle struck from behind was 50-year-old Sherri Sobrya of Cook.
Sobrya was transported to Essentia Health Duluth with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car and a passenger were treated and released from the Cook Hospital.
