If you’re thinking we’ve lucked out with the weather so far this summer, it’s because we have!
The Minnesota DNR has calculated an all–new ‘Summer Glory Index,’ a measurement based on temperature, dew point, and precipitation ranges.
At its half–way point, the DNR is calling Summer 2015 the third ‘Most Glorious’ on record in the state.
“It hasn’t been too hot where it’s like you don’t really want to go out, but it’s been nice to be able to sit out and enjoy an evening, as minimal as that is, it’s nice to be able to do that,” said Minnesotan Michael Glum.
The only summers on record that have this summer beat, were in 1922 and 2008.
