Cloquet Berry Farm Opens For Season

Sorry, this video is no longer available

Blackbirds and Blueberries opened its gates for the blueberry picking season, Saturday.

About one mile of the Crosby Rd. became overflow parking as hundreds of berry pickers descended on the blueberry patch.

The organic blueberries sell for $3.00 a pound at the farm and visitors can pick as many as they like.

With such a large turnout the blueberries don’t last long.

The patch will re-open over the next few weeks as more berries reach maturity.

Information about hours and picking availability can be found here.
