Duluth manufacturer IKONICS Corporation broke ground on a nearly 3.5 million dollar expansion Thursday.
Lt. Governor Tina Smith was on hand for the ceremony.
IKONICS received a half million dollar grant from the State of Minnesota for the expansion that should create around 20 new jobs in Duluth.
IKONICS manufactures sound deafening panels for jet engines.
