Volunteers Will Help Train National Guard

The Red Cross is seeking volunteers to help train National Guard members in disaster response, Tuesday.

The Red Cross will need at least 150 volunteers that are willing to spend a day at Pioneer Hall to participate in three registration sessions– at 9:00, 11:00 and 1:00.

Some volunteers will have scenario cards with extraordinary items listed to test the registration staff.

Snacks, drinks and lunch will be provided by the Salvation Army. 

All participants will receive a t-shirt provided by the Minnesota National Guard.

Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the Nothern Minnesota Red Cross in advance.
