Construction is almost finished on a mini cottage that could be yours if you’re willing to bid.
The Miller Dwan Foundation has partnered with Knutson Custom Construction to build the cottage for the ARTcetera fundraising event September 26 where it will be auctioned off.
All proceeds will go toward supporting the renovation and expansion of Miller Dwan’s adult in-patient behavioral health unit.
“It’s a really wonderful program, and this will help us to expand that program and that space so we’re able to serve more patients and also provide them with a higher level of care,” said Traci Marciniak, president of the Miller Dwan Foundation.
The renovations will offer a spiritual center and space for art, exercise and occupational therapy.
The behavioral health unit serves about 1,200 patients every year.
