Supporting Duluth-Area Troops Stationed Overseas

The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Canal Park is showing its support for our troops overseas.

Throughout September, for every pound of fudge sold, the chocolate factory will send a pound a fudge to the servicemen and women from the Duluth area stationed outside the United States.

“We’ve had people come in from the area that have got it and they love it, it’s just a nice reminder of home, getting something from the area that they’re from,” said Kaitlin Ditsworth at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

The store has teamed up with the Lake Superior chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America.

Last year they sent 400 pounds of fudge.
