The Salvation Army kicked off their third annual Dunkin’ in Duluth 3 on 3 tournament and free throw contest.
Nearly 100 boys and girls took to the court to sharpen up their skills and foster relationships.
“We don’t want basketball to be ultimate for them,” Salvation Army rookie basketball coordinator Kris Mallett said. “We want them to enjoy it but we want them to be good community members. Where they’re giving back to the communities, enjoying the people in the communities and can contribute as young men and women of character.”
Winners of the competition took home trophies and donated gifts.
