Sisters Celebrate 75th Anniversary of McCabe Family Gift

The sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery held an open house celebrating the 75th anniversary of owning the McCabe family home.

It was given to them as a gift in 1940.

The sisters and volunteers gave guided tours while playing various characters that lived in the house over the years.

Currently, the house is being used as a wellness retreat for people looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The sisters welcome people from all religious and non-religious backgrounds who want to visit the home.
