Duluth Man Arrested for Attempted Robbery
A Duluth man is behind bars for pulling a gun on a man during an attempted robbery Saturday night.
46-year-old Mark Monroe has been charged with 1st degree aggravated robbery and felon in possession of a firearm.
Duluth police were called to the 200 block of West 1st Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday on reports of an attempted robbery.
The victim told police that the suspect, identified as Monroe, allegedly pulled a gun on him and demanded cash.
Officers found a gun on Monroe when arresting him.
Monroe was taken to St Louis County Jail.
He has a long history of convictions including felony aggravated robbery, burglary and drug possession .
