The Senior Expo kicked off with a birthday party for nine Northland seniors who celebrated 100 years plus.
Some of the seniors shared their secret to living a long and full life.
“Just stay happy, don’t think of yourself a lot, think of other people all the time,” said Janet Peterson, who turned 101 years old this year.
The seniors were honored by the city with a certificate, a short biography and some birthday cake.
