Celebrates Popular R.L. Stine Book Series and New Movie Release

Some Northland kids got messy at the Duluth Public Library Friday.

The library held a Goosebumps Gala, celebrating the release of a new moved based on the popular R.L. Stine book series.

Kids got to check out the books and make their own ooze from common household products like glue, borax and water.

“The kids really like how gooey it is and when it slides from your fingers. They had a lot of fun playing with it and mixing it all up and making it themselves too,” said Youth Librarian Kristy Proctor.

The Goosebumps Gala attracted around 30 kids and their parents.
