Duluth Christmas Tree Put up Downtown

Christmas might still be 50 days away, but it’s starting to look like Christmas in Downtown Duluth.
According to the Duluth Police Department, this year’s tree was selected and cut down from a home in the Woodland area.
Santa Clause himself operated the crane to cut down the 4,000 pound pine tree.
The tree was transported down Woodland Avenue to be on display at it’s new home on the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street.
Duluth Police assisted with traffic control as the tree made it’s way to downtown.
The annual tree lighting ceremony will take place on November 20 to kick off the 57th Annual Christmas City of the North Parade.
