Now is the time to prepare your car for winter emergencies. 

Meteorologists say there’s a chance of snow fall in the Northland later this week, which means it’s time to get ready for the winter.

Some items that you should have in your car in case of a snow emergency include: 

Shovel

Food/Snacks

Grit/Salt

First Aid Kit

Flashlight 

Those are the major items, but it’s important to remember you can never be too prepared when a snowstorm hits.
