There’s a new option in the Twin Ports for purchasing your groceries as Aldi in Superior opened Thursday.
The store prides itself on keeping costs low for its customers.
The store has a few unique features.
If you want a cart you pay a quarter and once you return the cart after shopping you get your 25-cents back.
“People can get in and out much more quickly because they have fewer choices to make but we have all the key staple items they would need like milk, bread, sugar, flour. A hundred items of fresh produce, we have a lot of fresh bakery breads and things people are looking for every day on their shopping experiences,” said Aldi’s Division VP Matt Lilla.
If you don’t bring you own shopping bag to the store you can purchase them at the store.
It costs 11-cents for a plastic bag and 6-cents for a paper bag, or you can spend a little more for a reusable canvas bag.
