A clerk in Superior shot a suspect during an attempted robbery.

The Superior Police Department responded to Superior Coin and Currency around 5:00 Thursday night on reports of a robbery.

Police say an 18-year-old and 20-year-old male attempted to rob the business.

Authorities say the clerk shot the 20-year-old.

The 18-year-old fled the scene, but was arrested around 7 Thursday night, nearly two hours after the robbery attempt.
